BASICS OF THE ORGANISATION OF STUDIES
We organise continuing education in accordance with the Adult Education Act, the Standard for Continuing Education and the andragogical principles of adult education.
Conditions and procedures for admission and exclusion of students from language courses.
1.1 The timetable for courses at the Language School is available on the website at least one month before the start of the course.
1.2 It is possible to register for the training via the registration form on the website or by e-mail. By registering, those wishing to attend a course will be able to choose the time of the course that suits them best.
1.3 All registrants will be contacted individually and directed to take a proficiency test and/or an oral interview as appropriate. A person who passes the proficiency test and/or oral interview will be considered to have been accepted for language training. The information received will be taken into account in the selection of study groups.
1.4 We collect the following data about the person attending the training: first name, surname and personal identification code, which are necessary for the issue of the certificate or certificate. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
1.5 All enrolments will receive information on the exact organisation of the training one week before the course starts.
1.6 Withdrawal from the training at the request of the learner must take the form of a written application.
1.7 Exclusion from the training course on the initiative of the training institution is carried out if the student has failed to pay all or part of the tuition fee despite repeated reminders. A written notification of the withdrawal will be sent to the student, stating the reason and the date of the withdrawal.
1.8 A person who at the end of the training is issued with a document certifying the completion of the language course or participation in the training is considered to be excluded from the training.
1.9 At the end of the training, a certificate will be issued to the person who has completed 80% of the training.
1.10 A certificate will be issued to the person who has completed 50-60% of the training.
Conditions and procedures for the payment, waiving and reimbursement of language course fees
2.1 Tuition fees are paid on the basis of an invoice.
2.2 No exemption from the tuition fee.
2.3 Tuition fees are payable before the start of studies.
2.3 Tuition fees will be refunded at the request of the invoicing party if the participant has paid an advance payment for a training course which he/she was unable to attend for good reason (long-term illness, relocation, etc.). Tuition fees will not be refunded if more than two lessons have been attended.
2.4 The student has the right to show the tuition fee paid by a private person for the training as a training expense in the income tax return in accordance with the Income Tax Act §26. The data of the trainees are electronically forwarded to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board.

3.2 The trainers are philologists, teachers/lecturers of a foreign language as a second language, who have extensive experience in teaching foreign languages Lecturers have professional higher education, all have professional experience in adult education.
3.3 Regular in-service training is provided to ensure the quality of teaching. At the beginning of the academic year, a joint meeting is held to exchange experiences and language learning practices.
3.4 The trainings take place in our training room at Pärnu mnt 67a, Tallinn. All classrooms meet the health and safety requirements. There is enough space and light for every student. Classrooms are equipped with modern presentation technology and internet access. All students have access to coffee, tea, water and cocoa.
Training can also take place at the client's premises by arrangement with the client.
Procedures for collecting feedback on trainings
4.1 All participants will have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to provide feedback both orally and in writing.
4.2 Feedback will only be collected from those who receive a certificate on completion of the training.
4.3 In the feedback survey, participants evaluate the content of the course, their own linguistic development, the teaching materials, the teaching methodology, the structure of the lessons, the work of the teacher and the organisation of the course, and can make suggestions for improving the content and format of the course.
Conditions and procedures for ensuring the quality of continuing training curricula.
5.1 Trio Akadeemia OÜ's curricula are based on the Adult Education Act and the Continuing Education Standard. The curricula have been developed in cooperation with lecturers.
5.2 In the implementation of the continuing education curriculum, lecturers collect feedback from learners and those who commission continuing education, which is taken into account in curriculum modification and development.
5.2 The curricula will be amended and updated on an ongoing basis, as necessary and in response to feedback from training.
